10 Leopard Server
MacBook Safari and Mozilla Problems?

When I am surfing the internet, I will go to a site and randomly (after the internet has been working for some time) it will say "Safari can't find the server" if I'm in Safari, or "Address not Found" if I'm in Mozilla. Then after around 10 minutes or so, it might work again, without me restarting or anything.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? I haven't had this problem with any of my PCs.
A friend of mine told me to check my IP address and it's always the same, and it looks like a valid number.
Could it be my router? Or the MacBook's wireless card?

Also, I've noticed it's only on certain websites. For example, Google and Apple work fine, however Craigslist only sometimes works.

My computer is a brand new MacBook laptop running Mac Os X Leopard Version 10.5.4.
Thanks for any help you can give!

The latest version of Leopard is 10.5.6. Do a software update to get the lastest version.

It could be a DNS problem. DNS is like the phonebook of the internet- it translates sites like Facebook.com into their IP address that the computer can read. So try changing your DNS Servers (System Preferences>Network>Advanced>DNS

On the left side add in:
208.67.220.220
208.67.222.222

Save your settings and try that. If that works, it means your internet providers DNS Servers are quirky. If that doesn't fix the problem, make sure your router connection is steady. When you check your IP address, it should begin with 192.168, 172.16, or 10.10. That would be the IP your wireless router gives you. If you see one that starts with 169 that means your router has not given you an IP and you should try reconnecting to it.
