How do you upgrade Mac OS X from 10.3.9 to 10.4?
I'm fairly new with Mac & just purchased Pro Tools LE and I need to update OS X to 10.4 somehow. I installed every update up until 10.3.9 & no other updates were found on Software Update. Also I tried downloading updates from Apple.com but none of them worked so if anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot
Going from 10.3 to a higher version requires a purchase. You can no longer purchase 10.4 from Apple, as they stopped selling that as soon as they released 10.5; however, if you just want 10.4, a third party seller, like cdw or macconnection may still sell it.
