I am an airbrush technical illustrator, by hand & mind, not computer generated, for 40 + years.?
I am thinking of using a CAD system, and looking at the TurboCAD Pro 12.2, & the Imsi Turbocad Mac Pro V3. I use a Mac System only, and need some help to purchase the easiest and best program to use. I have never used a CAD program before. Everything on my website has been produced without using a computer. (lightsourcecreations.com)

Wow! You did that? Looks amazing! But I don't understand why you need to use CAD software. Are you going into technical production for industrial design, designing more detail and intricate or for fabrication and thus you need to use the CAD software? Or you just need to do more airbrushing within the CAD softs?
Using CAD needs extensive training, patience and rewards doesn't come in just weeks. It take months to practice or even years for perfection before you can finally comfortable using the software, also the needs to understand the technical aspect of using any CAD soft.
Because if your work is based on conventional airbrushing, perhaps the best solution is using image editing such as Photoshop. A good tool with many features.
You should also look for a drawing tablet, because I can see from your website, the airbrushing is quite detailed. By using a graphic tablet, you can produce and get result as good as conventional airbrush. It takes a while of getting along and using the tablet but worth it.
Here's my recommendation (on Mac)
A good Intel-based G5 (PowerMac Pro)
with adequate memory (2 Gig of RAM)
And LCD monitor (if for heavy duty, 20" above)
