How can I uninstall Adobe CS2 on Windows XP?

I am trying to uninstall CS2 to reinstall and start fresh since it's having all kinds of errors recently. Unfortunately when I go into Add/Remove programs and click on any of the program names, it does not show the 'remove' button. How else can I do this? I've tried an uninstaller program (Uninstall Plus) but it doesn't even show them in the list. I have the Student version of CS2 Premium.
I've followed the manual install instructions deleting program files, application data and registry keys. Now it seems like there should be nothing left, yet it still says programs are installed (Illustrator, Photoshop and Version Cue).

If you don't want to toast your license, before you remove the application, you must deactivate it.

To deactivate, (from any CS2 app) choose Help > Deactivate, and follow the on-screen instructions.
