Where does light go to?
Can someone here who knows a bit about physics explain this to me? I was playing with a flashlight yesterday, and this thought occured to me... where do the photons go? Like if I were in a sealed, airtight room, and I turn on a flashlight...where do all those photons actually go, since they certainly don't stay, or at least don't appear to.
Disclaimer 1: I am a virtual know-nothing when it comes to physics, don't make fun of me, just answer my question, please 
Disclaimer 2: I'm asking this in R/S because I've asked questions in other sections before, and discovered that I typically get less responses, and less educated responses. I assume that's because there are so many more people in R/S, that some of them have to know something about everything.

The photons become absorbed by other matter. Transformed into other matter or another form of energy. E=mc sq matter and energy are interchangeable.
All matter including us, from subatomic to massive black holes acts like a capacitor, it takes energy in, retains it for a bit, then churns it out transformed.
It is quantum physics where the strange starts happening in with our observation of it. If you fire a photon down a tube with two exists, it only goes through the exit being observed. If two people are watching both exists, the Photon doubles itself and goes through both.
