Ilife 09 Imovie
how do i get imovie with ilife?

i had imovie, but then i got rid of it for a reason. i remember i gotten it from using ilife 09. so when i insert the ilife disk into my mac, it just spits it out without prompting or showing anything. did i do something wrong? is there a way to get imovie back without buying it?

If you got iMovie of of an iLife disk, you can not get it back on to your computer. You can not get it back on to the computer because the disks are made so that you can not put it on to more than one computer (you can only use it once).
If you only removed it from the dock, then you should be able to get it back. To get iMovie back onto you must press the command (or ) button + the space bar (at the same time). Then type iMovie into the spotlight window that appears in the top right corner (The one you opened by pressing command + spacebar). iMovie will show up under "Top Hits" and "Applications" in the spotlight bar, if it is on your Mac at all. Next, double click on iMovie. iMovie will open in your dock. Right-Click on iMovie. Go to Options - Keep in Dock (Just keep in dock on older macs) . iMovie will now be on your dock until you remove it.
I hope this helps you fix your iMovie problem.
